This week, the Lincoln Elementary Chess program held their end of school year celebration. The program has long been supported by the McPherson Scholastic Chess Club fund held here at MCCF. Grants from the fund have often gone towards the procurement of supplies, including chess sets for the kids to take home and snacks to keep them focused. The club was joined by chess players from McPherson High school and officers from the McPherson County Sheriffs office.
