19 Dec Foundation Releases over $34,000 in Dec.
The McPherson County Community Foundation and the Moundridge Foundation have announced their grant recipients for December 2024. This cycle the Foundation released over $34,000 to organizations across the county. These distributions came from three different community funds.
McPherson County Grant Recipients:
American Legion – Providing Handicap Access – $8,000 matching
FYR Mac-Town –School year programing – $1,000
McPherson Community Theatre – Fall Show ‘Fools’ – $2,500
McPherson Resource Council – Christmas Food Baskets – $7,000
VFW Post #2715 – Banquet Room & Hall – $1,800
David J. Nutt Grant Recipients:
Smoky Valley Historical Society – Digital Preservation of Historical Media – $7,000
Lindsborg CVB – Chalk the Valk – $6,000
Moundridge Community Foundation Grant Recipients:
Moundridge Recreation Commission – Skating Unit – $1,000
