08 Aug Mastermind grants opportunity open now through Sept. 15
The McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) is now accepting applications for their Mastermind McPherson County grant process. Applications can be submitted now until Sept. 15. The process will be open to county non-profits, government organizations and local community groups.
In order for a project to be considered for Mastermind McPherson grantmaking, it must address one of the key priorities found in the Mastermind McPherson County survey (For more information or to review survey data please visit McPhersonFoundation.org/mastermind-McPherson-county/). These priorities will be different, depending on each of the communities in McPherson County.
Last year the Foundation, along with donor-advised funds held at MCCF, released $60,000 to community organizations (See more about these grants here).
“Like last year I expect lots of Placemaking and Community Health projects.” Betsy Davis, Director of Community Development for MCCF said, “These priorities were high in all of our county communities.”
Groups that plan to apply for a grant from MCCF for the first time, are encouraged to contact Betsy Davis at (620) 245-9070 or Betsy@McPhersonFoundation.org.
Mastermind McPherson County is a yearly three step initiative, that began with the intention of helping the Foundation properly address the needs of county communities through grant funding. This special round of grant funding is a part of step three.
