Becky Goss started the foundation in 2001. Goss’ goal was to bring a long-term investment into the enrichment and quality of life in McPherson County. Goss Graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

“I love the mission and the work of the Foundation as well the people I work with, employees as well as the people in the community.

A graduate of Emporia State University, Huddle worked in public accounting for 24 years. Huddle, who consulted with the foundation prior, became CFO in August of 2020.

Betsy Davis, Director of Community Services

Davis’ previous experience comes primarily from her work in local libraries. Graduating with a Master of Library and Information Science from Emporia State University. Her most recent experience was as the Library Director for the Moundridge Public Library from 2018 through 2022. Davis joined the foundation in August of 2022.

Jim Ostlund, Director of Development

While a native of Hesston, KS, Ostlund has deep roots in McPherson County with ties to many of the various communities. Ostlund graduated with a BA from Bethel College (’99) in North Newton, KS before becoming a youth pastor in Moundridge, KS. Continuing his education Ostlund received his master’s from Fuller Theological Seminary (’06) in Pasadena, CA, before continuing in pastoral ministry.

In 2012, Ostlund accepted the position as the McPherson Campus Pastor of Journey Mennonite Church, moving him, his wife (Jodi) and his two sons (Noah and Ethan) back to McPherson County. Ostlund will continue with his service with Journey alongside his work with MCCF.

Boughfman began working at the foundation in 2017. Her previous experience came as a Elementary School Aide.

Tyler Krenzin Graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors of Science in Strategic Communications. Krenzin joined the Foundation in November of 2021, his first full time position out of university.
