05 Dec Foundation to offer S.T.E.M. summer camp scholarships
McPherson, KS – High school sophomores and juniors in McPherson County have an exciting opportunity to participate in a hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, summer camp experience hosted by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Through the Jill Larson S.T.E.M Educational Fund, two McPherson County students will have the opportunity to attend a summer camp at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with all costs covered. The scholarship is open to both male and female students currently in their sophomore or junior year.
“The S.T.E.M. camps at Embry-Riddle offers a unique opportunity for our students to broaden their horizons, especially since such programs may not be commonly considered in our community.” Becky Goss President and CEO of the McPherson County Community Foundation said, “A fund like this goes beyond traditional grant-making, enabling local residents to explore new and innovative experiences.”
