05 Sep Foundation key dates to remember:
It’s been a busy few weeks here at the Foundation! We know that it can be hard to keep of all the dates that may be important you and your family. That’s why we have compiled a list of all the important dates upcoming for MCCF:
September 13th: Inman Grant deadline.
This grant is open to community organizations in Inman and will announce it’s recipients at the Inman High football game. This announcement will coincide with Inman Match Weeks kick off.
September 15th: General grants deadline, David Nutt grants deadline and Mastermind McPherson Count grants deadline.
The 15th of every other month is our standard grants round deadline. The special grant round for Mastermind McPherson County will also conclude on this date. Those interested in this special grants round should look here for more information.
September 19th: Community Coalition
This meeting, usually consisting of Community leaders and nonprofit professionals, has been moved from the 26th to the 19th. Interested in attending? Please message Betsy@McPhersonfoundation.org
September 20-27th: Inman Match Week
Inman Community Foundation was a recipient of a $70,000 match from the Patterson Family Foundation for this years matching event. This year the Foundation will have participation from nine organizational funds! Learn more about the event here.
September 26th: McPherson Housing Coalition Housing Conference
During last years Mastermind McPherson County Grants process the McPherson Housing Coalition was granted $12,000 to conduct a housing study across McPherson County. The results from this study will be released at their upcoming Housing conference. A registration link for the conference can be found here.
September 28th: McPherson County Suicide Prevention and Awareness Walk
This walk will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is open to the public. More information about the event can be found here.
September 30th: Rural Opportunity Zone Student loan repayment application deadline
A brand new program offered here at foundation. This student loan repayment program is meant to entice new talent to McPherson County. More information on the program can be found here.
October 16-17th: Staff attending Kansas Association on Foundations National Summit
Our staff will be attending a national foundation conference in Wichita, While our office will remain open, most staff will not be available.
