The McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) has announced their grant recipients for June 2024. This cycle the Foundation released over $46,000 to organizations across the county. These distributions came from three different community funds.

McPherson County ‘Dream’ Fund
- CASA- McPherson – $6,000
- McPherson Community Theatre – 2024 Summer Musical: The Lightning Thief – $6,000
- McPherson YMCA – Family Aquatics – $6,000
- McPherson YMCA – Y-Kids Summer – $5,065
- Wichita Littlest Heroes Wichita Littlest Heroes- McPherson Project- Hospital Bags – $5,000
David J. Nutt Fund:
- Chamber Orchestra of the Smoky Valley – 2024/2025 Season – $10,000 Matching
Moundridge Community Foundation:
- Moundridge Elementary – School Wide Read – $1,525
- West Zion Mennonite Church – Moundridge Youth Ministry Meals – $1,600
- Moundridge Historical Society – Replacement Laptop computer – $850
- Moundridge Safe Routes to School – Walk, bike, roll to school 2024-2025 – $4,000
